Perhaps, but there's a reason it's illegal. And should stay that way.

Yes, it would put the beer brewers out of business.
(It was the beer companies, threatened by pot's proliferation in the late 1800-1920's that started all the anti-pot stuff. "Negros" would smoke the evil weed, and rape the white women, you know. LOL)
And, no, I do not smoke pot. Never have.

Probably won't be legalized any time soon here in the US but that won't stop people from using it.

There was a reason alcohol was illegal too. Should it have stayed that way?

Perhaps, but there's a reason it's illegal. There's a reason why gun ownership is illegal to in many states/counties towns.
That doesn't mean its a good reason, or even a constitutional one.

Amen....
....and although all you refer madness spouting stoners who mock it and yuck it up whenever someone tries to condemn your precious sacramental herb and beside being turned into ne'er do well vegetables, there is a sizable minority of cannabis fanciers, who have psychotic episodes....but you can google that up for yourself, that is if your not too busy watching the wallpaper move.

Perhaps, but there's a reason it's illegal. So was alcohol too - is alcohol any less damaging to an addictive personality??
