What do you guys think about Diane Ablonczy not making cabinet? I understand the political calculus involved (must be seen not to cold-shoulder Vancouver and Montreal, they might cry) and I hope PM Harper has some other big jobs in the works for Diane.

The regional & demographic numbers game merely caught up with her & lots of other high quality Western CPC MP's.

As example, I would have loved to see my personal "dark horse" choice Lynne Yelich in the portfolio that went Bev Oda.

However, there are lots of important non-Cabinet jobs available & true conservatives should be rightly dancing jigs over the highly important Justice & national security ones going - not to red-Torys but - to Vic Toews & Stockwell Day !!!
