Herb was a mainstay of Europe for centuries and has been found to have been grown at every early agricultural site as a staple. This plant, which mirrors our substance in its seed and our mind's chemistry in its flower, has been an integral part of civilization since God gifted it to us. This has not changed, but those who would oppress the children of God and in defiance of his directives attack and imprison the partakers of this herb have raised themselves above God. Purity police require the demonization of the plant, heresy, in order to justify the perpetual war of terrorism they conduct upon our own citizenry. Freedom of religion is the foundation of this country and it has been woefully undermined by truly demonic forces which embrace this heresy of evil things which they may wage war against so that they can manage to ignore the citizen and the rights they savagely attack.

Okay, a knew a wise guy would pick it apart. :) Current drug user is more accurate. If someone used drugs in the past and does not use them now, in my scenario he could get a government job. How could you possibly know whether Carter has ever used drugs? He currently sometimes acts as if he were on drugs.
