I agree that Bush has failed the country miserably in protecting the borders from illegal invaders. This failure will be a stain on his legacy for generations to come as the country will then turn into a third world country between a Brazil and a Haiti.

it took quite a while to get air marshalls onto flights after 9-11. another 9-11 style attack could have been launched just a few months later, I doubt some flight coming out of the phillipines or indonesia towards LA would have had air marshalls on it.

superhuman? I'm in first class with two cohorts. the flight takes off, I get up and use the lavatory and remove the explosive from my shoe and put it in my pocket. I smile at the stewardess on my first trip to the lavatory. later, as the flights nears LA, I use the lavatory again. only this time, when I exit, I rush the cockpit door and place the plastic on the lock. My two cohorts rise from their seats, cut the throat of a stewardess with a plastic knife, and otherwise block the aisle. I light the fuse, and duck behind the kitchen galley to shield me from the small blast. the cabin door is now open. most passengers haven't even had time to look up from reading their magazines before it all unfolds.

the 9-11 plot seemed kind of impossible to, on 9-10.

By the Fall of 2002...

office tenants were leaving Los Angeles' tallest building by the droves,

...including its biggest Law Firm tenant from about the 30th Floor then moving out to Beverly Hills,

due to fears of impending terrorist attacks from the air.

I believe that was part of a fairly common strategy called shelter in place.

Very interesting information. Thank you for taking the time to explain.

They go after economic targets - the affect on the economy and its interaction with asia would be severe. Remember, their side treats this as total war. Like the Nazi's did.

Your objection has no bearing on this since the planning was initiated prior to 9/11. The pilot backed out once he saw what happened then. He may have started with the idea that it was a typical highjacking.

The "wobbly" are those who are attacking the President at every opportunity. I was not referring to you but to your concern.

Your hysterical rhetoric undermines your ability to have even truths accepted. What we have is a problem of small to medium significance that has the potential to be mishandled into a bigger one.

How clever. Probably took long and hard effort on your part to come up with that.

This was probably said somewhere but when Bush announces he saved city slicker libs they bitch that he "blindsided" them with too much information. if he didn't protect them you know they would pound him out of office for incompetence. That is why they won't make gains in 06, 08

"How clever. Probably took long and hard effort on your part to come up with that."

It takes even harder for some to figure it out and come up with a response.

Bu, like I said, I do agree.

"Is Liberty Tower now renamed US Bank Tower?"

It's not the 'Liberty Tower'. It never was the Liberty Tower. It's always been the Library Tower.
