Rape, particularly rape of a child, used to be subject to capital punishment not that long ago. Bring it back.

His life in general population at a maximum security prison will be far more miserable than it would be on death row, and probably a whole lot shorter.

Remember, many prisoners have children also that they love. Prison for this guy will be far worse than death. I think it should be announced on the prison PA that he is here, just before they put him in the population of the prison. Oh yes, the punishment fits the crime...
