Morris: "Cheney needed 24 hours to sober up" after shooting
Fox News | 2/16/06

Posted on 02/16/2006 6:22:22 PM PST by pabianice

The Moonbats are out tonight and howling! Dick Morris, just on Fox, told Hannity that the reason Cheney didn't immediately notify the Royal Dinosaur White House Press Corps of the accident was 'because he needed a day to sober up first before being questioned.'

The Libs are imploding!

"morris isn't a lib.."

On any given night he can be whatever suits him - and his motives are really, really, unclear.

See post number 7 - closer to truth than your number 2.

As if Morris would have a clue about what went on in Texas.

I think the real story here is what's going to happen to the Dems in the South. The media and the howling moonbats are ensuring that they're going to loose the Southern hunting gun-rack vote for ever. At least we won't have to see "can I git me a huntin license here" photo ops anymore.

The WH needs to be playing hard ball with these idiots. People should not be allowed to say the VP of the US was drunk and shot someone if it's not true without consequences.

I agree completely with the comment by Caryatid. Dick Morris prostituted himself to Clinton for years, and the question is never about what he is, but about what his price is.

I don't know ... the (wife?) of the shooting victim said they served no alcohol at lunch ... then Dick Cheney told Brit Hume he had "a beer" at lunch. I don't trust Dick Morris any further than I could spit, but from the beginning the White House has been treating the entire accidental shooting story like Cheney doing a drive-by.

But don't worry. We FReepers are defending Bush and his administration. Bush won't fight back and defend it. He doesn't have to. He never has.

Well, just wait until it's said VP Cheney was smoking a cigarette! VP Cheney will then have to resign in shame.

I had three Killian's Red in honor of liberal insanity.

They went down smooth.

In spite of old stories of the men getting away from the wife and kids for a bing of drinking and hunting it just isn't true. Hunting deaths would soar if that were true. Most hunters will not tolerate drinking and hunting from their friends and hunting companions. My experience has been that after the hunt there is a good deal of imbibing, but absolutely none during the hunt. Again, it is just too dangerous.

I don't believe for a minute a man who has the discipline to have had the kind of career Dick Cheney has could have accomplished it by being someone who ever needed 24 hours to sober up.

Dick Morris has been hitting the sauce.

Yeh, whenever I leave the house with a 74 beers, a fishing pole and shotgun, I wait 24 hours before figuring out whether I should skin or scale it.

Dick (no pun intended) Morris is indeed a "dark force". Totally untrustworthy and out mostly for himself.

Even I don't need a day to sober up and I'll bet I drink a heck of a lot more than Cheney. Even when I'm hunting with dangerous weapons, rocket launchers and running with scissors.

Giving the exclusive interview to Brit Hume WAS playing hard ball. There is nothing that would piss off the presstitutes more than that. Nothing. I mean... if you stop & think about it for a few minutes, it's just hilarious. I wish I could have seen their faces when they heard that little tidbit of news. ROFL.

I heard it and believe Dick was referring to Ted Kennedy and Chappaquidick (sp?). He was comparing the two stories. He was a jerk about Cheney but he mentioned the 24 hour sobering up period in reference to Fat Ted.

Morris was a prostitute for the clintons, and after they threw him away he turned on them with a vengeance. I like to listen to him trash the clintons, but I wouldn't trust him for a second. He's despicable in every sense of the word.

When Rats and provacateurs like Morris make this type of wild accusation they are also accusing the secret service, the medical personel and everyone present of being crooked participants in a cover up. When Hugh Hewitt challenged Larry "Spaz" O'Donnell on this point he wilted like a grocery store rose.

We also have to worry about what he is re-e-e-e-e-ally up to ... he is a chameleon ... so, don't trust him for a minute! Just wait and see how high his price will go ... and, it will be paid regardless of how high it goes ... and who he signs up to work for in the next election.

Morris isn't a "lib" anymore.

He certainly has you fooled! The tiger does not change his stripes ... he just uses them to allow himself to hide in the shadows for a while ....

I agree. He seemed a little out of it himself. His hair was a mess, like he just woke up or maybe..... drunk? Lets start a rumor and see if it catches on. hmm.
