I've been out of town, I'm so sorry to hear of this, I see you will miss her dearly. I'll keep you and the pastor and his daughters wrapped in the comfort of His grace, in prayer.

Dear brothers and sisters, Pastor is still in intensive care, but the nurses had him sitting up for a few minutes yesterday. Dad is going to visit him today, so I should know more this evening.

Please continue to pray for this very dear servant of our Lord...thank you!

Heavenly Father, Creator of all the the Heavens and the earth, You are the great "I am". We come before you Father on bended knee, as your beloved children. Humbled before You, humbled by You.

We call on your Holy Spirit Lord, at this time of our great loss. For You are the great Comforter.

We don't always understand your ways Lord, but we trust in your promise that all who serve You will know Your infinite, mercy, grace and justice, and will be joined with You in Your glory for all eternity.

We call on the strength of Your Holy Spirit Lord, that we might become better servants in doing Your will on earth. For that is the meaning and purpose of our lives. That we might glorify you in our every waking moment.

We call on the strength of Your Holy Spirit Lord, that we might become better purveyors of Your word to a dark world, for You are the Heavenly Father's truths made flesh.

Command us Lord, for we are Yours. We love you with all our heart, soul, mind and body. Guide us at this time Lord because we are lost without you. For you are the great Counselor. Let us be a reflection of the light and the truths that only You can bring.

We don't fear death Lord, for you are with us always. And we know that all is according to Your divine will. We praise Your Holy name Lord. All is to Your glory.

In Jesus' Holy name, I pray.

Thank you for the update on your pastor - so glad to hear he's making progress. I ask the Lord for his complete healing, and a rapid recovery. Also for the Lord's deep ministry to his heart and soul over the loss of his wife.

Any way we can get this thread displayed on the main pages of FR again? Or a new thread with the information below?

My dear brothers and sisters, it is with great joy that I can report good news about Pastor Easley and his family. His healing and progress have been miraculous. The doctors removed the chest tubes, IVs, oxygen, and have had Pastor walking up and down the hallways. His mind is clear and sharp, and does not seem to have any loss of mobility! Pastor will be transferred to a convalescence home for a few weeks, and then will be allowed to go home.

Lily's funeral was a beautiful and uplifting ceremony, and she is resting only a few yards away from my mother. All of the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were able to attend, and also spent a great deal of time with Pastor in the hospital. There is a wonderful feeling of peace and healing for everyone touched by Lily's passing.

Thank you all for your prayer support during this critical time. I ask our great and merciful God to keep his arms wrapped around you and all your loved ones...

More grace and mercy, in Jesus's name! Amen!

Continued prayers for your Pastor and his family. I know that he and all of you will miss his dear Lily, but surely he is confident in the knowledge that she is with her Saviour, healed and whole and at peace.

Thank you, dear sister...and yes, Pastor knows exactly where Lily is right now. In fact, I was remarking to Dad the other day that so much has happened since Lily passed away that cannot be explained except if Lily was petitioning our Lord in person for everything she wanted done.
