I'm sure everybody went to high school with that "special" someone who always thought he knew more about everything than anyone else. He also had no friends. Doesn't that make you feel sorry for little "attention needy" Julian?

I had to laugh when Julian went off on taxing the lottery. He doesn't understand why lottery winnings are taxed.
Hey, Julian, you dumb sh*t, lottery winnings are INCOME.
But it was nice to see a liberal democrat whining about taxes.

"That's when Phillips felt the need to remind the minister as to what was more important..."
That is when Julian should have taken it upon himself, for the sake of viewers, to ask the question: "What is most important to a professing Christian?"

When it comes to Christianity, there comes an end of words and a crying need to see an example walking in faith.

May I suggest you check your air quality index.

"We thank you for that BUT we also know the most important thing for a Christian is to conform to the image of Jesus Christ and become saved." Actually we just have to accept Jesus as our Savior. If we had to conform to the image of Christ, no one could ever get saved.

May I suggest I am entitled to watch whomever I please? I make no apologies for liking Julian.

You're entitled to do whatever you please, and of course watch and enjoy whomever you please.
However, WE are entitled to poke fun at you for your "choice", and I make no apologies for that or for the fact that the majority of posters here, myself included, think Julian is a complete buffoon, and very deserving of the ridicule that is directed at him.

"Why do you say that?"
Why> Because he's an absolute moron. From the tens of thousands of FReepers, you might be the only one to hold such an enlightened opinion about this sanctimonius liberal turd.

He is better than Juan Williams. He was the true buffoon.

In what ways is he a liberal? I watch him all the time and don't understand why you don't like him.

I certainly respect your right to like Julian, but these messages boards are all about an exchange of opinions, and I daresay that the great majority of people posting to threads on Phillips are not fans. He often reveals his left-wing orientation, and on top of that can be less-than-well-informed, awkward and ostentatious.

There is a profound lack of respect for authority observable on the morning news talk shows.
It is one thing to discuss issues in the third person, and another to come face to face with the newsmaking person.
The trend has degenerated from speaking in the second person, to thinking and behaving in the first person equating the newsman with the newsmaking person.
For example, Senators are fairly routinely interviewed on the news channel regarding a national or international decision, spoken with in first person, interrupted and cast aside in favor of a station advertisement for a third rate sitcom. The Senator's authority is then reduced to a watercooler chat with the news channel spokesman elevated to overseer of our governmental processes.

Well, there's just no accounting for taste.
Julian's comment infuriated my husband. I don't pay attention to Julian until I get breakfast cooked on Sunday. He's otherwise too much noise too early.
