I'm surprised nobody's recommended digging up his skull to do a forensic reproduction of his facial features. Does anybody know if they ever did a plaster cast of GW. I know they've done plaster casts of other famous folks like Lincoln and Frederick Douglass.

Looks to me like General Washington dropped a contact lens and is hoping it will catch a ray of sunlight so he can see where it is.

I thought of Chad Lowe when I saw the youthful picture.

A movie star? Nah. Washington wouldn't waste his time with Hollyweird. He'd be too busy kicking Islamofascist ass!

Actually I was thinking more of Jeff Daniels and his excellent portrayal of George Washington in A&E Networks The Crossing. I havent learned out how to post a picture yet can anyone help me out here and post a pic of Jeff Daniels?

Here's an unusual Silver Cerificate from 1896. These are worth a few bucks uncirculated. The only American ever to appear on our currency with his wife:

He looks familiar.
I enjoyed the comments on this thread.

Interestingly enough, the modern man I think looked the most like Geo. Washington was David Packard. Same great height, long nose, big forehead, wide hips. Same reputation too for honesty and character. Every time I met Packard I felt like I was looking at U.S. quarter dollar (minus the ponytail). Wonder if it is a gene?

Facinating, what does one of those silver certificates go for?
