"One of my teachers called me ignorant and told me this was an embarrassment to the school," Trost told WND. "She said to me, 'Can't you forgive him after all these years?'

Abso-frikkin-lutely amazing.

Lynch said Kennedy had overcome such adversity to get to the place he was

I'm sure it was really difficult for him to leave Mary Jo in that car to die and wait until he sobered up to tell the press. Poor Kennedy!

The Massasoit campus is just down the street from old neighborhood. I could walk there from my old residence.

I think that I might take a spin over there if that discipline action begins to grow any legs. I'll speak to the Administrators. I know a few Professors who work there.

If I see any news on this in the local papers, I'll post it on FR.com.

Agreed. One can be green for real--actually planting trees and doing hands-on work--as opposed to just screeching about laws.

In my case I just left a job working with the homeless. The politics never came up, but I was surprised at how the managment was very liberal but those of us who worked hands-on in the shelter were not. I found a lot of common ground with the regular staff, while the volunteers (who came in once a month, twice at most) were uniformly liberal.

I was surprised at how backstabbing the staff was, and a friend with lots of experience told me I shouldn't work in that field because too many people are failures interested in being "heroes" than in DOING something. I was pretty bummed out by the complete lack of solidarity among the staff. I covered mistakes two people made, and what'd they do? They went to the boss and told him *I* made the mistakes.

The new job is perfect for me in many ways--I'll be working with teens, and I respect teens without needing to be their "friend", and somehow that makes them like me more. It's also perfect scheduling for my other activities, so I will be glad to stay for the year, at least.

I mention all this only to respond to your good point about how conservatives get a bum rap in terms of community service. In my experience we're as community-minded as anyone, we just want to take part from our own initiative, not because someone demands we do so.

Kennedy has overcome adversities? What a load of crap! He was born with a silve spoon in his mouth and has been given everything that anyone could ever desire, including the ability to cause the death of another person and get out of it scot free.

If the students had yelled, "impeach Bush", or take Cheney's gun away from him would they have gotten extra credit? Just wondering.

Overcame hardship!! Like getting out of the car before Mary Joe; cheating in college; caught in a police chase while drunk driving; and lying about Republicans.

I believe the expression is "depression is anger turned inward"...

Bitterness is usually just plain old unexpelled anger at self.

Regardless of politics the young student has courage to bring the truth to the table for those who do not know, have forgotten, or who wish to delete it.

Isn't this something?

They've got Monty Python's Flying Circus on at the moment.

Think I'll go partake. Certainly more fun than a bunch of Libs who are living in a parallel Universe.

More later!

If only Ted knew there's no ice cream in Hell, he might mend his ways.

"ice cream"? WTF? You must have meant to type "ice" - to go along with his Chivas.

JOHN KERRY came back from Vietnam to call us American Soldiers fighting for the Freedom of others there...

...terrorists who cut off heads and ears...

...instead of the Communists we were fighting who actually were.

MEL GIBSON came back from filming our real Vietnam War story titled:

"WE WERE SOLDIERS"

...deeply inspired to finally make his long planned ultimate story of LOVE & Sacrifice titled:

"The PASSION of the CHRIST"

I wonder WHO got it right..?

MEL's -PASSION- sparked by -WE WERE SOLDIERS-

He didn't get that fat on Chivas, unless there's a Chivas Ice Cream.
