I agree, I thought I was a liberal at 20; but I always looked at each issue independently and never just voted across the board dem. on candidates or issues. After really doing my homework on the major issues, I became a Republican. I still look at each issue on it's own merits, but the dems of today are just wrong on so many things it makes it easier to be an R.
