MoveOn.org, the Daily Kos, Democracy for America and the AFL-CIO have raised money for Rodriguez's campaign, while the Club for Growth, a conservative group, and business organizations have sided with Cuellar, who still has the advantage in cash.

I can't believe I'm rooting for a Dim, go Cuellar go.

I sent Cuellar a contribution around 10 days ago, the only time I have ever donated to a Democrat. But Cuellar is pro-life, pro-business and pro-military, and could one day switch to the GOP when he realizes that not only do his issue positions fit in better with the GOP, but that it will be easier for him to win the general election as a Republican (President Bush got 53% in the district in 2004 and Cuellar would get many Laredo Democrats to still vote for him if he had an R next to his name) than to win the RAT primary against a San Antonio liberal.
