What he says makes sense.

In the Jewish, Christian, and Islamic religions, God the Father is the Creator.

Thus what the Father has created, only the Father has a right to destroy (kill).

And, in all religions, human life is the most valuable of all life on earth - above the animals.

(Though many liberals think that slimy snails in California and Oregon are more important human life.)

Makes sense. I'd also like to see those who protest against landmines protest against terrorism.

Get children to write open letters to Al Qaeda care of their mouthpiece, Al Jazeera. Children are often the victims of middle eastern terrorist attacks. Beg them to stop.

Duh.

This also goes for politicians who carry Bibles under their arms for photo ops and are corrupt in their daily lives. (X42!)

"God, the Creator and Father of all, will be severe in his judgment of those who shed their brothers' blood invoking His name."

Yep. That's going to stop them.

You blow yourself up to kill innocent Jews or anyone else and it’s a safe bet that there are NOT 72 virgins waiting for you on the other side…only the gates of hell.

Meh, I'm beginning to think Pope Pius had it right.

This Pope is a quiet one -- he does not burst into print often, and it's difficult to know him the same way we knew John Paul I (Luciani) and John Paul II (Wojtyla).

But so far, from what little he has said, I like the cut of his jib. He speaks sense.

Responding to a new spate of religious violence in Iraq and in Nigeria, the Pope said: "God, the Creator and Father of all, will be severe in his judgment of those who shed their brothers' blood invoking His name."

I imagine now the Muslims will riot because the Pope is presuming to tell them about God.

Very obviously true based on the 10 commandments ...
BUT coming from the pope make an obvious statement that much more powerful.
It's not only Christians/ Catholics who listen to the Pope, as the funeral of John Paul showed with an unprecedented attendance of world leaders paying respect.

One of my very favorite snippets from all of te Chronicles of Narnia occurs near the end of "The Last Battle," where, during the allegorical equivalent of rapture, Aslan asserts that he is the source of all that is good, so that any good act is done in his name, and likewise, Tash, the source of all evil is served by any evil, regardless of in whose name it is done....

"For I and he are of such different kinds that no service which is vile can be done to me, and none which is not vile can be done to him. Therefore if any man swear by Tash and keep his oath for the oath’s sake, it is by me that he has truly sworn, though he knows it not, and it is I who reward him. And if any man do a cruelty in my name, then, though he says Aslan, it is Tash whom he serves and by Tash is his deed accepted.

Well at least the Catholic Pope's lone voice will be heard, never mind that the thousands of Muslim Imam's cannot find their tongues and have no spines to do likewise.

They also face the wrath of the U.S. Marine Corps. When they're done with 'em, God gets His turn.
