Just what I was wondering.
Didn't his folks teach him about, "Don't TOUCH!!" when he was younger? My 2-year-old knows what THAT means.

This kid is certainly old enough to know better. After considering the offense, and examining the painting, IMO an appropriate punishment would be to make him paint a replacement work.
