I wandered ahead of the group and came across a dolphin display. The glass itself was very wavy, to give the impression that you were looking through water, at the lifesize dolphins suspended by almost invisible cables in the display. An undersea panorama was painted on the back wall of the display.
I snuck around back and found a small trapdoor into the display. When my class arrived at the window, I was inside the display, pretending to be holding my breath and swimming underwater with the dolphins.
I was much disciplined for my show, but it was worth it. I even caught a non-nun teacher laughing.
I left no gum or permanent damage behind.
Best laugh I've had today.
now that's funny
I can guaran-damn-tee you the nuns were howling laughing, re-telling the story when they got back home that night! We never saw them do those things, but my Aunt Frances is a Sister of Mercy, and the stories she'd tell about life at the convent! LOL!!
She laughs now about one Friday when they'd had busy week, and no one felt like cooking. They just hauled out some Vienna Sausages, crackers and cheese. They were about halfway done, when one of them remembered that it was FRIDAY, and they weren't supposed to be eating meat. They laughed and then realized just why those Vienna Sausages tasted so much better than usual!
That is too funny! LOL. I needed that laugh this afternoon!
Ping...post 69. Get a chuckle.
ROTFL! Although, this does NOT surprise me a bit!
That sir is the difference between you and what the boy did to the painting.
