Yes. At a minimum, they violated the espionage act.
In addition, I believe that there is sufficient evidence to support an indictment on charges of treason- if the matter were ever brought before a Federal Grand Jury.

Unfortunately, ever since Hanoi Jane got a free pass, the Feds seem to think the law is unenforceable. It is still on the books, though:

I'm not talking summary executions here- the minimum penalty is ten years, $10G fine, and being barred from holding public office.

No need to be too hasty in ruling out summary executions. When the big war or the pandemic hits, I hope all the attorneys with the amicus briefs report promptly to the nearest Federal courthouse. They will treated properly, and, I hope, promptly.
