Hey Dog, I understand. That film pisses me off every time I watch it. Not because of the content, because we all know the ending, but because I feel that Hollywood media loved to film and tell that story. <

IIRC, "Black Hawk Down" was toned down from the book as far as references to the Clinton administrations incompetence in the whole affair.

When I see that movie I think of 17 Rangers who were killed needlessly........Mike Durant said most of that movie is correct and it is a very important film.....it should remind people to chose wisely on their ballot....he is a Republican and loves Bush...

Bruckheimer is actually a conservative and Black Hawk Down was overlooked by the Academy because it made clinton look bad.
