LOL! That's so true. I have watched every year for years. This year though, I really am boycotting. Hollywood has gotten completely out of hand with the politics in movies. I can't even say the last time I went to a movie and said, "Wow that was really good, that should win an Oscar". I can't remember the last time a movie came out that I was really anxious to see. It's been at least a few years now.

There is very little creativity left in Hollywood. All the movies have political agendas or they are movies about other celebs. Think about it. Ali, Ray Charles, Howard Hughes, and the list goes on.

If they decide to stick to just making movies to entertain us, rather than push a political agenda, maybe I'll watch them again.

Don't forget, they will make movies to attract you. Then
they will use the profit to make movies that advance to, (and
what I call "soft-brainwash") the public that lefty policies
and unnnatural families, or behaviours, are good. So Bonnie
and Clyde are romanticized, cops are always corrupt,
cannibals are interesting, religious folks are narrow
minded and blighted, big business is ONLY stealing money (except
the entertainment big business, of course).
I say the medium has passed it's time. Movies, (i.e. ideas
with "moving" images) can be done on a shoe string budget
nowadays. No need for mountains of equipment, high strung
actors, directors, producers, any more.
