This was the first Academy Awards in my lifetime in which I saw none of the movies nominated for Best Picture. In fact, my wife and I forgot that the Oscars were on last night and watched "The Gospel of John" on DVD instead.
I stuck my nose in a book about traveling in China. Best Oscar Night I ever spent. :)
