I thought an under the radar reason the libs feared Alito was that he was an ROTC advocate and the libs knew he would endanger the federal funding of the "Ivy Covered North Korean Utopias".

You are right on the money with that comment.

One good example of this type of university would be Bob Jones University. Say what you will, make fun, etc, but they have never taken any Federal funds. So any wierdness is financed on their dime, not yours.

Obviously I'm using the universal 'you' here, not specific to this one poster.

When my son was at Carnegie Mellon they did not allow Army ROTC on campus. I wonder how this ruling affects CMU?

Grove City College in Pennsylvania takes NO college funds. THey do so because they prefer to choose their own curriculum. My guess is that they DO allow military recruiters on campus.

They are a wonderful school and reports are that corporations line up to visit the school.

you might find that colleges that accept federal funds must allow peace corp recruiters, must allow male "re education" promoters, UN promoters, professors who follow the democrat line.
