Yale has the biggest problem with this decision. For the state schools, if the law schools insist, they will just separate the law school from the other part of campus and separate its bureaucracy so that it's a separate entity. A useless gesture, but such things are important to bubbleheads.

Yale can't do that.

Think the Feds will look right through some gimmick like that. I know in the Federal Procurement rules that won't wash. My guess is that the law school would have to be a completely separate school with no connections whatever to Yale.
