Another bandaid...
1) Stopping new immigration by illegal aliens.
2) Doing something about those already here to discourage their continued stay.
Kaloogian's proposal addresses the 2nd. There need to be many other things done (fining employers, deporting illegal aliens picked up by law enforcement, etc...) but this is a positive step in the right direction.
Kaloogian will be a good partner with Tancredo.
when they come in to wire money, have INS, there ready to arrest and deport them. Find out where they are employed and fine the employer for the costs incurred by the city, county, and state for dealing with these guys.
This is an idea that's long overdue. If you're not an illegal alien you have nothing to worry about.
The bottom line is that illegals aren't spending the money here. This just shows that they don't give a rip about assimilating in the U.S. - nope, it's all about supporting their esseys
back home.
