Absolutely right. Slaveholders never ripped their slaves' arms and legs off, nor did they suck their slaves' brains out of their skulls, nor did they put their dead bodies in jars and throw them into landfills.
Abortion is much worse than slavery. It is insulting to compare the two -- insulting to slaveholders.
Show me one slaveholder who ever said his purpose was to "exterminate" the black race. Margaret Sanger said exactly that -- and she didn't even favor abortion, at least not publicly. She only founded the organization that went on to become the largest abortion provider in the US.
And the pro-choice folks got so upset when Bill Bennett said something similar, merely as a hypothetical to show how awful it sounded.
If folks think an unborn child is merely "a lump of tissue" then why on Earth were they upset with the hypothetical?
Because they are hypocrites, that's why.
Bennett's example is not the one I would have chosen, but it still revealed something.
