Well at least your honest. Perhaps you should start the Thomas Jefferson party. JEfferson wanted us to be a country of small famerers and artisans. Since you rather freeze than work in the world as it is that would be a good venue to express those political sentiments

The job of DPW would have included loading and unloading cargo as well as hiring of personnel, both of which in my book are crucial to security.

Because infidels are good investments?

Remember, in their mind, we are 'supposed' to be working for them.

I haven't a very good opinion of our European "allies" either. Of course what some people call an ally is not how the dictionary defines the term.

Our real European allies are the UK, Italy, Poland, Denmark, and the Netherlands. I bet that this group votes with us a lot more than France, Germany, Belguim, Norway, and Sweden, or any of our other obstensible European "allies".

I'd say it's a fair assessment of the Islamic world.

Xenophobia, probably.

Racism, definitely not.

I was just on a it's not 'Racism' discussion on another thread.

Racism = genetics.

Being Muslim is a matter of belief, not genetics.

Hatred of Brown-Skinned Folks With Money--a not-uncommon malady in America.

Yea, hiring longshoreman(American citizens) LOL, All of this was addressed, and NO agency saw a security risk.

Get ready for blowback

I believe that's Bill clintons area of expertise, maybe you should ask him.

Now I'll have to call China for support on my Dell computer.

Germany is probably back on the ally list. They've clued in quite a bit lately.

Islamic influence is in and of itself a security risk which by policy none of those agencies is permitted to view properly. However, the American people are not so constrained by orders from above, and can see it for what it is.

People hate Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods?

(Well, other than other basketball players and golfers I mean...)

I'm in wait-and-see mode on Germany. They've a relatively conservative leader now but her position is weak. They currently fall into the potentially-useful-but-not-reliable category.

>>>> ...Gulf nations awash in cash from oil profits, the United States remains a tempting market to invest. So instead of retreating, over the longer term, Arab investors and governments may campaign to shore up their image among Americans to ensure their money is welcome.

The wealthy cash rich Islamic sheiks will never give up investment in the USA. The House of Saud and other heads of Muslim nationstates like Dubai's Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, will never divest their US interests. Its too good of a deal for them.

At the same time, the US government will make sure that the US military continues to protect and defend these Islamic dictatorships from all terrorist enemies, jihadists, islamofascists, etc etc etc.... LOL

DPW was lucky to get away without anything being nationalized, the way things are going. :(

Some do. Those folks tend to hate me, too. (I'm Kumeyaay, and I'm a retired business owner. I've been on the receiving end of that sort of silliness more than once.)
