Prayers for your daughter and your family. Thanks for the update.
prayer bump
Prayers send from Germany. May God help our daughter to get well again!
I think some of your daughter's cool, calm attitude comes from you and your wife and the way you handled the situation. NOW, GET SOME SLEEP.
Prayers will continue.
Glad to hear that things went well and her mood is great. Sounds like quite a tough gal you got there! Thanks for the update. Bless you all!
I know as each of us check back and read your latest update we are so pleased and relieved right along with you.
Thank you, God, for the good news and for Sara's physical and spiritual strength. Help her maintain that as she faces the challenge of healing on her way to full recovery.
Luke, I hope that you and your wife will relax for just a few hours and sleep while Sara sleeps.
The loss of so much of her pancreas is concerning. I don't have any idea whether or not that will impact the function but I sure hope not.
My son is a Type 1 diabetic. It is a difficult issue for a young person (well, anyone for that matter.) I will pray hard that she does not end up with this issue. Her life has been spared though, so, right now, we will just focus on that positive outcome.
More prayers for all of you.
Thanks for the continual updates.
We thank you for seeing young Sara safely through her surgery. We are confident that You never left her side and that You directed everything that took place there in the operating room. May Your Name be praised for the strength You are giving this precious child, her father, and mother as they endure this trial. We confess that Your healing has already been granted, and that Sara will walk in good health. May Your Name be glorified in her life and may she continue to be a beautiful reminder of Your love and faithfulness. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Continued prayers for your sweet Sara, you, and your wife. Hugs for all of you.
So glad to hear the news, Luke. Love to your brave daughter.
Thank you for theupdate luke. I've been praying for you all. Sounds like you have a real TROOPER on your hands. God be with her and touch her body. Get as much rest as you can.
Polly
Praying for her return to perfect health very soon. Praying for the right decisions made for her medical care. Praying for calm and peace for her family as you go through this together.
More prayers on the way!
O HEAVENLY Father, watch with us, we pray thee, over the sick child for whom our prayers are offered, and grant that she may be restored to that perfect health which it is thine alone to give; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Have you watched Gonzaga play basketball? The most awesome college b-ball player in the country, the lead of their team, has type 1 diabetes and has to check his sugars during the game because of all his exertion. Sure puts a successful, happy face on the disease.
Of course I pray that she doesn't have to go through all that, but if she does, it is NOT going to stop her. Don't worry. It always sounds worse at the very beginning.
Oh, and medical bills? They will be easy to pay off very slowly, unlike other bills. It will be OK. Hope you do have insurance.
Thanks for the update. BTTT!
Rest and Trust on the Great Physician.
Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
I am so sorry to hear this.
Prayers are being said for your daughter and your family.
Praying for a full and speedy recovery.
Please don't take the bear graphic abovw -- it was made espcially for Sara - thanks
