Everyone keeps focusing on the dissemination of the anthrax from USAMRIID. That is pretty well documented and we know that the strain that was mailed could not have come from the shipment to England, (Porter Down) because of the genetic makeup. It is most like the original held by USAMRIID.

However, it is a mixture of this genotype 62 and genotype 62 with a mutation. They will find the culprit lab, when they find that combination.

The possibility exists that the mutation occurred after it was stolen. But if they can find that combination it is a smoking gun.

After the fact, the govt. called in all the samples of all the anthrax and tested them. That is all that existed. One place had destroyed all of theirs.....guess or read post #19.

What most do NOT focus on is where was this sent before it went to USAMRIID? And that one place and the place that destroyed their collection are one in the same.

I am weary of responding to posts; I know the STRAIN was given out, but never the weaponized form or the details of the process of how it is manufactured, this is what is actually used to ID the origin of the weaponized agent; the fact that USAMRID is THE focus of the investigation indicates that it is where the compromise occured.
