KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) - Senior Muslim clerics demanded Thursday that an Afghan man on trial for converting from Islam to Christianity be executed, warning that if the government caves in to Western pressure and frees him, they will incite people to ``pull him into pieces.''

There will be hell to pay from the Christian conservatives if this man dies, because he has become the poster boy for how Islam treats other religions every day all over the world.

Cowboys and Indians
Three strangers strike up a conversation in the airport passenger lounge in Bozeman, Montana, awaiting their flights.
One is an American Indian passing through from Lame Deer.
Another is a cowboy on his way to Billings for a livestock show and the third passenger is a fundamentalist Arab student newly arrived at Montana State University from the Middle East.
Their discussion drifts to their diverse cultures. Soon, the two Westerners learn that the Arab is a devout, radical Muslim and the conversation falls into an uneasy lull.
The cowboy leans back in his chair, crosses his boots on a magazine table and tips his big sweat-stained hat over his face. The wind outside is blowing tumbleweeds around, the old windsock is flapping; but still no plane comes.
Finally the American Indean clears his throat and softly he speaks, "At one time here, my people were many, but sadly, now we are few."
The Muslim student raises an eyebrow and leans forward, "Once my people were few," he sneers, "and now we are many. Why do you suppose that is"
The Montana cowboy shifts his toothpick to one side of his mouth and from the darkness beneath his Stetson says in a drawl, "That's cause we ain't played Cowboys and Muslims yet, but I do reckon it's a comin."
Whenever and wherever Christians are martyred, Christianity flourishes. These Afghan clerics should study world history more.
You're right, but that's how Islam spread from country to country. Most people, if given a choice, would have nothing to do with it.
The only thing that kept Islam from overtaking Europe was the religious ideology of Christianity, and today's atheist Europe is no ideological match for Muslim zealots.
The only good thing about Rahman's circumstances is the bad press Islam is taking on the world stage. It shows Islam for what it is.
And if the islamites fail the test, we allow the Christian to lose his life. Some test, eh?
This poses a real problem for the leftist-oriented dominant newsentertainment media. How to present this. If they tell the entire truth, their whole sham will be exposed as a lie (the religion of peace, etc). If they omit significant facts, the public will see the lie. What to do!
They will give it the one-second treatment like they did with Fox's murder at the hands of militant practicioners of the religion of peace. Report it on some obscure inside page with small headlines hoping that we will not notice. Then when the unfortunate person is killed say "... was found dead".
Their demands are non negotiable.

I continue to pray for Abdul (Both that he be acquitted, and that God protect him from the furious zealots when he is released), and I think I will write an email to Bush asking him to do what he can to save this man who is guilty of nothing but learning the Truth and accepting it.
