"This is the sixth article posted about the same study from six different moonbat sources...

Don't know if the intention is to pretend that there are multiple valid sources for the doom and gloom thing, or if the nutcases have a union now, got organized and are now posting the same thing over and over again."

Not to mention that the study is in conflict with a number of other studies at least as prestigious and that that these stories are neglecting much of the balance found in the study and the original journal.

A few days ago, I saw a graph showing the Earth's temperature over thousands of years. It clearly depicted warming and cooling cycles. All these "global warming" moonbats are dumber than dirt.

One Krakatoa size volcano can spew out enough gases and ash to cool the entire planet, and volcanic eruptions can happen at any time.

Bingo! And Mt. Vesuvius, and Mt. St. Helens...

If some of these greenies would bother to take a science class, they'd discover that the oceans and vegetation absob CO2 and convert it to O2.

There is denial on both sides - there are people claiming that there has been no global warming in the last century. On the other side are people claiming that we know the global warming is human caused and that we can stop it by greatly diminishing industry.

I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt but of these false claims coincide so neatly with each side's pre-existing political positions I have to wonder...

If you stack the ice higher than the brim fill the glass to the brim with H2O, the glass will overflow as the ice melts.

The same principle applies to the ice caps which measure hundreds of feet tall. As for all of this happening, I doubt it. Too many nervous nellies think otherwise.

Personally, I could care less about "positions" on this issue. I prefer facts, not supposition.

SOLAR ACTIVITY

As Rush said a few weeks ago about the sun being hot, "Imagine that." It was funny to hear Rush rip the global warming moonbats.

Actually comments like that are part of the problem. It was funny. But not helpful.

Did you hear Rush's assessment on global warming? Or do you just plain not listen?

"Did you hear Rush's assessment on global warming?"

No, I was relying on your report of what he said.

And I'm sure that come the next year Katrina or worse, Mother Nature will make sure to avoid destroying the homes of all those with 'green' homes and hybrids in their garages too.

I live in Florida so I guess my house is going to turn into sealab 2021. Just think, all the bebop cola I can drink.

Just change your handle to SpongeBob and everything will be cool.

"We need to start serious measures to reduce greenhouse gases within the next decade. If we don’t do something soon, we’re committed to four-to-six meters (13 to 20 feet) of sea level rise in the future."

The last Glacial Maximum was about 18,000 years ago, then the Earth started warming up and the ice caps started melting. I wonder if Paleolithic Man knew what all his SUVs, coal fired power plants etc. were doing to the climate.

In the last few years sea level has begun rising more rapidly, Overpeck said

There is precisely zero defensible evidence to support this statement.

The best studies on sea level changes have concluded that in about 25-30 years we'll have enough reliable information to exclude land elevation changes and El Nino effects. IOW, it'll be 25 years until we know if the sea level is changing (let alone what rate its changing at)
