To be fair, modesty in dress has almost nothing at all to do with pedophiles and gays in their own ranks. For example, they can support pedophiles and gays if they decide to dress modestly.

It doesn't make them hypocrites. It may make them something else, though. :-)

Lincoln, Nebraska is Fabian Bruskewitz's diocese. He's told the parents in his diocese that if any of his priests or lay workers molest any kids, the parents are to call the police on them immediately and press charges, and he'll stand behind them. He's rock solid on the question.

But I guess for some people, "Catholic" is the same as "pedophile," the same way that, for some people, "Jew" is the same as "greedy liar".

The technical term for such people is "bigot".
