But Republicans soon accused Democrats of trying to squelch their amendments, while Democrats accused the GOP of trying to kill their own bill by filibuster.

They have to know the people in this country do NOT want amnesty for millions. Those millions will become billions because they have 5-10 kids each. There's a girl here locally [not illegal] but she's only 22 years old and has 5 kids!! NOT married. ~sigh~
I call this odious amnesty bill "One flew over the cuckoo's nest" Well, it ain't going to fly this year. Screw you Vicente and all the Latino fifth columnists in the USA.
I have no problem with Hispanics who come here legally though I do believe there are other 3rd world countries should send us more legal immigrants and Mexico a lot less since we have accepted so many already. Greedy Mexico sends us the MOST LEGAL IMMIGRANTS! And of course the most illegals too.
