Cardinal OMalley and Rev. Hurmon Hamilton, executive board member of the Black Ministerial Alliance of Greater Boston joined nearly 8,000 immigrants in their demonstration for amnesty and more benefits at Copley Square yesterday. The Boston March was part of a nationwide event called Day of Action that included over 100 cities and over 1,000,000 marchers. Cardinal OMalleys role was expected, considering the posture other bishops and cardinals across the country have been taking,...

Why are Black Civil Rights Leaders, particularly those working with young black men, supporting illegals, since the illegals are taking the jobs the young black men who are citizens would otherwise have?

The same Fellow Travelers who praise the Cardinal for supporting wetbacks will label him a filthy oppressor if he dares to utter a word about abortion.
Wake up,Cardinal! These people are *not* your friends. You are being *used* by groups that despise you and everything you stand for!

Perhaps it's time for O'Malley to go to Rome for a "Benediction." ;)

George Bush said it... "These people are just taking the jobs that Americans don't want to do"
Take a drive to Roseville California and watch the illegals do the jobs that Americans don't want to do. Let me list a few of them...
1) Landscaping
2) Foundation Work
3) Framing
4) Plumbing
5) Electrician
6) HVAC
7) Plumbing
8) Sheetrock & Texturing 9) Finish Work
What it really comes down to is that Contractors are saving a ton of $$ by hiring people that don't require benefits, can send the $$ to family that lives on a fraction of our cost of living, are willing to rent a 3BR/2BA house for 20-30 people, and when injured or arrested, can be replaced by another for the same price within hours because they network.
I received a call from the RNC asking for money and I told them to go ask the illegals for contributions of the money that we Americans don't want to contribute.

In the Catholic Church, if you confessed that you broke the law the Priest would urge you to turn yourself in. The Priest would NOT advise you to break the law. The Catholic Church has ALWAYS obeyed the law of the land. The opposite position by Priests, Bishops, and Cardinals CANNOT stand.

I am Catholic and totally pis*ed at these Cardinals getting involved in this and for being on the side they are. They should lose their tax exempt status and raise their money like the rest of us, work for it. Of course, I guess that trying to get 12 millon more to fill the pews is working for it. Not the Church I have belonged to for 60+ years and it's a shame.

In my neck of the woods those jobs are done by whites.

I agree - the Cardinal is too emotionally-laded in this issue. Not pleased with him at all. If my parish priests and/or Bishop pull this act during a sermon, I will have a little chat with him at the end of Mass.

That's a great line to use. The RNC buttheads called me
four times last week begging for money. Screw 'em.

I too am Catholic and I agree with you. It's hard enough trying to defend the Church w/o the Bishops getting involved with ILLEGALS. I understand compassion. If a person is hurting yes, help them. (note I said person.) But to advocate breaking the law????
Can we each choose which "rule" we want to break? Lie, cheat, steal or become a Democrat. haa haa.

Will these 12 million put more money in the collection plate?

"Why are Black Civil Rights Leaders"
Why is anyone?
$$$ Payoffs and a quiet populace and validating MSM.
The industry lobbies have spent lots of money and years creating a web of dependencies and supporting narratives.
Democrat sheep are following along, though the reasons why Bush and Rove support this are as confusing to them as to why their own leadership wants to disable the American lower and middle classes. Better to keep thinking about Bush "lying" about some aspect of foreign policy.

Every group in construction has their own traditions:
Germans place a evergreen tree on the roof when the frame work is done.
Mexicans all take a dump in the wall before the last sheet of drywall goes up.
