I wish they had obeyed the law all these years regarding
criminal priests. They made the choice to shuttle and hide
bad human beings and give them another opportunity to harm another youngster. Cardianl O'Malley continues to increase his flock by openly defying laws. He considers it his duty to bring in more Catholics. I would encourage any DA to pursue charges against anyone caught breaking the law regarding immigration. That includes any member of the clergy .
I agree completely. I've just stopped my automatic monthly payment to my parish (in the Boston Archdioces. I'm terribly disappointed in Cardinal O'Malley.
"In my neck of the woods those jobs are done by whites."
Here, too. Black and white folks do all that here.
I received a call from the RNC asking for money and I told them to go ask the illegals for contributions of the money that we Americans don't want to contribute.

Good one!
Sad, though, isn't it?
I wonder if the Cardinal would be as concerned for "civil rights" if these were Muslim or Hindu immigrants? Hmmmm.....
Your next of the woods is getting smaller and smaller. Whites may be doing those jobs now but not for long. Go to just about any construction site and Spanish is the language being spoken.
Blacks and Hispanics don't get along at all.
They are jumping the shark. This could destroy the race baiters/hustlers forever.
Because they are taking money from their allies in the Democratic Party. The last thing they are worried about is getting jobs for young blacks. The will work the system, with set asides from government projects, but jobs in the private sector unrelated to government? Forget it.

They won't be for long..Look around the country and see whats going on. Its not just the Border States anymore.
4 years ago, here in NoCal, it was landscaping only. Maybe doing fieldwork.
But then the building boom started and the Mexicans filled the holes faster than construction guys from Nevada or Idaho could.
Like I said, they network...in spanish. If 10 jobs open in NoCal on Monday morning, there will be 12 Mexicans arriving on the jobsite (remember, there are 20-30 of them living in a 3BR/2BA house down the street) on Monday by noon.
Then perhaps the Catholics should pay the bills for their being here since it fills their coffers.
Go down to the Gulf Coast and see who's doing the work. I was in Biloxi just before Katrina and there was a ton of "immigrants" doing drywall and painting on the Hard Rock Casino. I understand that they are doing the majority of the cleanup and reconstruction work in the area now.
"I understand that they are doing the majority of the cleanup and reconstruction work in the area now."
My understanding as well. It's also my understanding that those folks came from the Houston area specifically for this work. North of the coast, most all of those jobs are done by black and white small businessmen, at least that's who shows up at my house when I call. I've had electrical work, HVAC work and pool work done on my house in the past year. Everyone that showed up at my house was black or white.
However, there is a mobile home manufacturer in our town that I believe employs a number of illegals.
Isn't Cardinal O'Malley following in the footsteps of Cardinal Law when it comes to breaking the law?
Didn't Cardinal Bernard Law cover up some illegal activities by the priest in Boston? Did these illegal activities have something to do with young children?
Oh Well, what can you expect from a Catholic Cardinal?
Amen to that! Our Congress is solving the wrong problem right now. Let us first plug the leak in the ship of the USA, and then get the buckets and mops to clean up. NOT just ordering more buckets and mops as we have many times before. Implementing a FAILED policy does not solve the problem.
You're not? LOL!!!
No, he's not.
