I believe they in fact did just that.

With all the bragadoccia and saber rattling being done by Iran, whom by any definition is out armed by the US Military, you can't think they are going to stand toe to toe and slug it out. That would last about 15 minutes. I think they will try to become a victim politically while making small and very quick lethal attacks on Israel and the west.

I believe that Iran already has nukes. They are baiting Israel. Once attacked they will nuke Israel and destroy it.
