Yes, ma'am. It's a very private decision between the woman and the unborn human she decides to kill.
Also insane are the nutcases that actually had to consider whether or not to punish her; and the ridiculously lenient punishment they provided.
A staff member who conducts himself in a manner that reflects unfavourably upon the University, the department, and himself will be subject to immediate discharge, without advance notice and without further pay.
I'm surprised she hasn't argued that the above didn't apply to her as she is not a "himself". Mooooo
"Few have publicly backed Jacobsen, but NKU President James Votruba said that he has received e-mails from former students who have told him how important Jacobsen was to them. "She's been very important to many students on this campus," he said. "You don't judge a career on a single incident in the last two weeks. You don't judge Sally or anyone else like that." Votruba also said he understood "we all have moments in our lives that we'd like to replay."
In the April 18 e-mail sent to students involved, Jacobsen outlined the class procedure for the rest of the semester and encouraged students to "stay away from LA 517," which is her office. She also gave the students legal advice. " If you are named, my advice is to get your attorney to plead you down to a misdemeanor," she said. "The well-funded Right to Life groups that are pushing for this need felony convictions, I believe, in order to file civil suits for damages."
So she very likely keeps her retirement - but faces possible legal action, and it looks like she's strategizing already.
She's the one in the red dress.
Yeah, liberals don't view first amendment speech protections as a right to speak, they view it as their right to censor.
From today's university newspaper:

I hope someone exercises the liberal version of the 1st amendment by putting a fist in her face.
More like Stalin cutting the faces of dissidents out of pictures.
Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters
Because of tenure there is probably little else that could have been done before her retirement which is only a matter of weeks away.
The Northern Right to Life group said they will press charges which could result in felony theft charges. It very well might not be over for her yet, hopefully.
I'm glad she was dismissed instead of "retired."
She's the one in the red dress.
LOL...Good one!
"It is poverty to murder another human being so that you can live better." - Mother Theresa.
I was marveling the other night: My youngest can drive me mad...she's a rambuncious six-year-old that may be smarter than I, who wants everything to happen right now. She can make me pull my hair, then turn, and the light hits her right, and she breaks my heart, she is so beautiful. I have given up, mostly gladly, a lot of time and money and my own wants to bring her to where she is today, and that is what becoming a mature human being and parent is all about...giving up things so that your children can become all they can be.
I was always "anti-whiner" in my younger years...mostly against abortion because I was in favor of young women and men living with the consequences of their actions. However, since becoming a parent, I have truely become anti-abortion...how in the world can a woman, or man, choose to stop a beating heart of a child?
To this academic: Ma'am, if you can't understand that it's not your choice once the project is underway, that it is murder to do what you view as "a private choice", then you are forever a child incapable of becoming a mature adult, and I am sorry for the sad, shallow life you have lived, and will live. It is "all about you" in your tiny little universe. I have heard the same thing from every Feminist, lesbian, and homosexual I have ever met. Birds of a feather, eh?
Anything else and they reserve the absolute right to ban or destroy it and not give any sort of opposing view.
You hit the nail on the head. Humans can lie and self-delude, but inside...we all know what private sins we are guilty of. This woman faced down her own "tell-tale heart", I will bet you.
Oh, please...this was days ago. Can't we just move on?
