Let's go back to the beginning. William Goodfellow and Noam Chomsky were both on the same side downplaying the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. Both were pro-Marxist, both supported Ho Chi Minh and the Viet Cong. They were not just useful idiots, both were determined Marxists. Goodfellow made an ass of himself at the 1976 Congressional hearings on Cambodia. Undaunted he then uses CIP, which he helped found, to support Salvador Allende in Chile. He continues over the decades to support Castro. He hires at CIP two of the most rabid anti-CIA types to come out of the State Department, Robert White and Wayne Smith. He fights against US support for the Contras. He makes every effort to get his buddy Anthony Lake hired as NSC chief under Bill Clinton.
The above being said, anyone who passes information on to the very left wing Dana Priest, wife of Goodfellow, knows where the information will end up and how it will be used. Mary McCarthy, who was perfectly aware of the Anthony Lake business, and certainly must of known that the information she was providing would be used by leftists to advance their cause against Bush, the CIA and its new hatchet man Porter Goss.
If the Department of Justice does not bring charges against Priest and the Washington Post for knowingly handling and reporting on highly classified CIA material in a time of war it will be in dereliction of duty.
Goss was reportedly put in cia to clean house. Where is the broom! It needs to start sweeping a little harder.

Yes indeed, isn't it fascinating how the price of gasoline has suddenly made front page, round the clock news? We didn't hear about them when it was a dime cheaper...why now? Oh yeah, diversion, subterfuge, distraction, cover-up....from a Clintonista story.
The drive by media was of course, holding their exploitation of the gas prices for just such a need.
Perhaps we are only seeing a very small section of the cabal synthesis. We have the entire Chinese section left to find yet. To date there have been quite a few Chinese and Koreans arrested, but no big breaks yet leading to the domestic section. Perhaps when we have a more complete picture we will find the location of the top prize ? In every Marxist endeavor there always was a bleeder, or I mean leader.

The New York Times changed the earlier accurate version of a story on testimony on secret CIA prisons in Europe (a story first reported in depth by Dana Priest and for which she won the Pulitzer Prize) by the EU counterterrorism chief Gijs DeVries, to an inaccurate version that favored the Bush Administration.

You are absolutely right- I mentioned on another gas post that the French responded to the '73 embargo by making most of their electricity production nuclear.
We should, and could, have done the same, and then those goblins in the middle east would not have such a stranglehold on us now.
