FYI Palm Beach county FL is the home of the outrageous tobacco litigation and is one of the two worst courts for outragous lawsuits in the country.
The Palm Beach Count police did warrentless searches on his doctor to get his records and it was argued up to the Florida Supreme Court, who okayed it. (No surprise there, from the people who if they had their way would still be demanding vote counts in Florida until 2008 rolls around.)
However, federal law protects your medical records and I would like to see this taken to the U.S. Supremes.
There is no such thing as outrageous tobacco litigation. Big tobacco execs should be in jail. There is nothing good about tobacco. Nothing.
