Remarkable. I notice an absence of the usual pro-illegal suspects on this thread. At thought at least one or two of them would come on with the inevitable 'darkies' comment, or 'if you don't support amnesty, the world will end'.

Interesting.... a harbinger of 2006?... lets hope..

I hope the campaign managers are having some deep thinking meetings today to decide just what to do about us people who Love America. Let's hope they get their heads on straight and decide to help us win this war.

Good. But give the MSM 6 months of re-educating the American people, telling us what a bunch of xenophobic bigots we are, and the white guilt will drive us to elect everyone who supports stripping our borders away entirely.
Well, I'm exaggerating. But this effect will cool a lot by the 06 elections. I hope not. But the MSM is a big spin machine.

For anyone who thinks the Republican Party will nominate a conservative, I have two words. Bob Dole. They would rather see the Witch in the White House, than an anti-globalist conservative. Because her agenda, or her husbands, is their agenda.
The sad fact is; I think there is truth to what you say. We've been duped, coerced, played... The three card monty of today's global politics. RINO's galore.
Sure there are TRUE American conservatives out there, but they are far and few between. I don't know if we can right this ship, or if it's going to swept over by a beam sea.

They had better wise up, as all of my conservative friends have blood in their eyes, just as you and I do.

A better title for this thread would be "Zealots Join Democrats to Remove Republicans"
This election is only prelude for November.
If you can get the dems in control of Congress and Hillary into the Whitehouse, you'll be back in the limelight again.

Very encouraging news, kristinn.
Thank you for the ping.
I'll be interested to follow this story as to the closing of the center.

Well, at least one of you showed up on this thread. I was getting disappointed.

We need a BUNCH of conservatives who won't pretend that unbridled illigal immigration isn't a problem to run for congress against pro-amnesty RINOS and 'Rats. A Zogby poll just today said that the support to enforce our immigration laws and to secure the border is overwhelming. Voters who call themselves Democrat and Republican, black and white and brown, Christian and athiest, rich and poor DO NOT want amnesty.
I tell you, if you can get the message out that you are the anti-immigration candidate, you will win elections.

If they need removing, then it ought to be done. Who cares about Hillary? The GOP uses that line of thinking to ignore our wishes. They assume, as you do, that we'll let them off the hook because we fear Hillary in the White House more than we care about the GOP acting just like the Rats. We shouldn't fear her. She's part and parcel of the Clintonista Crime Syndicate and I wouldn't give her 6 months in office before she has committed at least 5 felonies. The next "Kenneth Starr" bringing her impeachment isn't going to be such a moron.

The margin of defeat for the incumbent mayor was 130 votes out of 2,596 votes cast.Several lessons to be learned here:
1. Local elections matter.
2. Never forget to vote. 130 isn't many people but it made the difference.
3. Remember who endorsed candidates, especially if they are facing upcoming elections.
I wonder if illegals were voting in this one. In a lot of places, proof of citizenship is not required to register to vote. If so, that makes this even more impressive.
