"Almost 60% of Free Republic poll respondents state that they will not vote for the Republican" For anyone who thinks the Republican Party will nominate a conservative,
I have two words.
Bob Dole.
They would rather see the Witch in the White House,
than an anti-globalist conservative.
Because her agenda, or her husbands, is their agenda.

Turnout in the election was higher than in past years, at 26%. The margin of defeat for the incumbent mayor was 130 votes out of 2,596 votes cast.
The nearly clean sweep by candidates opposed to coddling illegal aliens with taxpayer funds should serve as a warning to incumbents everywhere.
Damned wobbly, treasonous "Republicans" best take careful note.

The "wrong group" they are pandering to that I am referring to are the illegal aliens :)

"Hopefully, they won't start sending out return envelopes where you have to put a stamp on it."
If they do, just put the mailing address as the return address and toss it in a curbside mailbox with no postage. Since that is the only address on the envelope, the post office will return it to them postage due.
At least, I think this works.

Now we need to take it to the Congressional level. That's already happening. Chris Cannon I hear is in trouble again in his Utah primary and this time he stands an even better chance of getting tossed. We need to start getting rid of these open border clowns.

This mayor who was fired by the voters had aspirations for higher office and was using his pandering to the illegal aliens as the guaranteed way to the top. Sounds like someone else we know. John McCain maybe...?

IMO W will not back down on this issue ... but he at least needs to STFU! With the WOT, making tax cuts permanent and needing to drill and refine our own energy, there is more than enough for him to be working on.
I see his lips flappin', I'm just not seein' much positive action.

The GOP is going to be destroyed this fall. It can't count on that idiot Howard Dean to fumble the ball on the one-yard line.

I so hope other politicians are paying attention. One of the illegal alien supporter interviewed on TV referred to our hispanic population as a sleeping giant. I hope the
real giant has stopped sleeping....

"How dare they," said McDonald, a research specialist for the University of Pittsburgh who said she voted for Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) in the 2004 presidential election. "If they are so active, why aren't they in Mexico City, why aren't they forcing their leaders there to deal with the quality of life? If you don't like it here, go home."
If the long-term solution to the immigration problem is the improvement of the Mexican economy, that solution will never come while its workers leave the nation by the hundreds of thousands.
