Well, I confess that I finally quit holding my breath. It appears that in the great chatfest known as FreeRepublic, I am chopped liver. Rather than asking for a discussion of the article that started this whole goatrope, I guess I should just sling some names and toss around a lot of empty rhetoric.

I find it hard to believe that Bush would sacrifice his political support by allowing the US Governmemt to spy on the Minutemen even if he did call them "vigilantes".
He would not sacrifice a drop in the polls for such a thing!
