Go away. Plenty of other threads for you to hijack and personally stalk posters who have bested you.

Well you have met one now. I watched that situation unfold on national television and there is no excuse for the lack of action for three days when those people were suffering and the feds had what it took to get them out of there. Don't tell me Bush did everything he could...Any of us could have commanded the situation better. All he had to do was watch and act! It's an old story but I will never believe that after the NO Mayor and LA governor had failed that he could not have stepped in forcefully. Old news, and I don't want to start a new debate on that issue, but you won't convince me it was a success of the White House, and it was one event that made me ask whose in charge anyway. Anyway I have a right to my opinion even if you don't think it is justified. BTW I've been here since 99 and just waiting for the right time to troll..right, lol. By the way why do you advertise yourself as a BushBot on your home page? Do you really think everything he does is really great?

Okay, you've convinced me you have a poor memory.

You may have outnumbered me, but you certainly haven't bested me. Anyone can scroll up the thread and see how this played out, even without the deleted posts.

I have scrolled the thread and it's beyond my interest to understand WHY you can't get over yourself. Hildy told me you had changed and silly me, I believed her.

Much as it goes against my grain to get off-topic, I must tell you that what you saw on TV was FAKE. If you are swayed by Geraldo's tears and Shep's hysterical hand-wringing, you are simply too gullible to be a conservative. Those of us who paid attention to what was going on knew who the culprits were, and it wasn't the President.

My hubby spent 4 weeks courtsey of the President in New Orleans.....it was the state and local authorities duty to take care of their citizens....don't blame the Katrina mess on this President...my hubby saw first hand the local inept leadership in NO....

I haven't changed. Hildy just got to know more about me than you have taken the time to find out. You're so busy playing childish games, you can't see past your self-induced hatred. Have you ever passed up an opportunity to insult me without even knowing why? Have you ever taken the time find out what I'm saying before telling me I'm wrong? It's your loss.

You've already made this thread about you. I'm not going to play.

Have a nice day.

Are we going to try to have a live thread tonight, or should we just forget trying to do so?

Didn't you know that it was the president who FORCED the mayor and governor to order a mandatory evacuation of NO?

That FEMA's own web site says people need to be prepared for 3 days without federal help.

But despite that, FEMA was there within 24 hours (they do need to make sure the storm is over, after all) but they were SHOT at.

The NO cops walked off the job.

There were no rapes or cannibalism as reported by the hysterics like Shep Smith.

Not me. I absolutely will not be able to tolerate the hysterics who will show up so I'm just going to avoid them. Like the plague.

I wish we could have our own thread and they could have their thread, but it's not to be.

I'm confused.. If we disagree with Bush on something, or think he has made a bad move, is voicing that opinion "bashing"?....Also how come all this troll nonsense started all of the sudden this late in this tread? I do seem to remember Peach from the Schiavo threads but who raised the rug? I can't find a single argument these few have made on topic in this thread. My definition of a Troll isn't disagreeing with Bush. It is trying to confound a rational discussion with ad hominem attacks. Where are the legitimate discussions on what Bush will accomplish by having the NG take over typing duties for the Border Patrol?

My definition of a troll is someone who doesn't follow forum rules, like pinging a poster when you mention her, and more importantly the continuous bashing of the president who has done more to deal with illegal immigration than any other president in my lifetime.

As a social conservative, my highest priority is to protect the right to life. Without "the inalienable right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness," the Constitution is meaningless.

But immigration is becoming a bigger and bigger issue every day, especially in the light of the recent illegal immigrant marches and what they revealed, as well as in the light of the war against the Muslim Jihad.

We don't need no stinkin' immigration reform. We need to enforce our laws, for the first time since Ronald Reagan mistakenly permitted the first amnesty to take place.

Enforcing the laws means that the federal government needs to protect our borders and the states have to protect the rights of citizens.

It means that we have to start getting serious about arresting employers who employ illegals. It means we have to have solid IDs for voters, and no same day registration. It means no drivers licenses for illegals. It means putting an end to identity theft. It means that we need to stop providing welfare to criminals. It means an end to the "anchor baby" policy.

None of this can be done unless the President uses his bully pulpit to get out in front and start calling for action. The hell with Vincente Fox. What has he done for you since he came into office, President Bush? Nada. Nothing but trouble.
