I've been hanging around this place for 3-4 years. I seldom post. Have posted 1-2 articles, and have never posted a vanity that I can remember. The last month or so has made me question why I spend so much time here. If the people on this forum, who I believed were the spine of the conservative movement in this country, could break apart and collapse this quickly, then what do we have to anchor ourselves to.
To open Breaking News (my first stop everyday), and see your comments there as a beacon in the dark, gives me new hope.

Sorry to be getting on this so late, I just wanted to thank you for a very well put reality check. I think many of us tend to get caught up in the issues we feel strongly about and make the error of not keeping in mind the myriad issues which are just as important but may not be in the forefront at the moment. It's a good idea to come up for air and take a good look around once in awhile.
