"Let things be imported and let the prices raise."

The single issue I was speaking of in my post was stoop farm labor. Thats it. I'm not wanting to depend on food imports, and once that small farm goes under, the land gets developed and will never come back into production.

Most other jobs that immigrants are doing, other legal Americans will do for any reasonable wage, stoop labor isn't one they will though.

We need to go back to a "migrant worker" program like we had in the early 60's, pick the crops, then go home.

The liberals got rid of that program saying it was slave labor.

Well you can live in a world where you do not see Americans doing stoop labor but I watched it all my life and watch my cousins still do it today.

You may not want to depend on imported food but how much you wanna bet you already eat some it now.

I offer to you that your little mini rant that all land that is farmed will be developed and never farmed again is a bit of a stretch. Maybe that might apply to your county but that is hardly the entire USA.

American's will do any job. You underestimate us all and our nation when you claim we will not. Do away with the illegal labor force and that will become more clear than anyone can possibly smear.

You can wish for a program that will see them come here do your stoop labor that YOU do not want to do and then see them go home but ask yourself this:

What mexican in their right mind would EVER go back once they were here?
