"I would love a fence and I will fight for it - but I will not throw in the towel and give my vote to a democrat for anything."

Despite the threats and hyperbole, I don't think there are any conservatives who could actually bring themselves to vote Democrat, either. But, there is enough disaffection over illegal aliens and "amnesty-by-any-name" to cause a decent percentage of reliably Republican votes to just sit this one out, as far as the fall. The same thing happened to the first President Bush in 1992, over taxes. It can very well happen, and has happened before. Vicomte13 is just trying to point this out, and has a genuine concern that the Republican Party is going to suffer a setback that he really does not want to occur. You're more or less lambasting the messenger here, ClancyJ.

As I said before - that messenger is not coming across as a team player. Not my fault - I react to what I see posted and I reacted to his comments.

I do not appreciate those that chose to gamble with the future of this country over an issue. We have too many real enemies and we cannot afford "sitting" out, or "teach the GOP lessons" tactics.

If I am wrong about him - again, I react to what he posts.
