If you're going to repeat the sentence, repeat the whole thing:
"That you were heading toward trying to taint someone for knowing former FReepers who have been banned, for whatever reason (and I'm not going to be drawn into any debate about the ins and outs of moderating a thread) says to me that you're not involved in anything other than being a keyboard jockey on the FR boards."
Heck, I went to college with the guy who asked Jim Robinson to suspend him upthread, and was granted his wish. He lost his cool, but he's no troll. He was fairly involved. I can't pretend to understand his actions today, other than frustration.
