I make no bones about the fact that I am a traditionalist. I expect men to go off the deep end, but not women. Maybe it says more about me then the poster? I've never equated vulgarity with females.
Well, I'm not going to attack your traditionalism, but the second part of your post, "You really should call it a night" did seem rather bossy and chauvinistic when combined with the first part of your post. Based on the first part, I doubt you would have said that to a man who said the same thing, so it came off like you were ordering the "lesser sex" around. I doubt that's really you, though. You seem like a good guy. But it did sound chauvinistic to my years, and I am most certainly NOT a PC-type.

Oh geezzzz.
Listen, dear. I am a former Navy Commander. I have ordered more men to "call it a night" then I can count. Something about mandatory rest before flying? It is a phrase, not a comment denoting how I feel about women, ok?
No one should doubt my love for the female form, if not always the female psyche, but I don't feel superior. Why do I picture you living in Berkeley and eating wheat grass in between poetry readings?
