It is never too late. November is a long way away. When Lincoln gave that speech, a lot of people though it was too late back then. Today, we are the greatest nation in the history of the world.

What I meant was that its too late for freepers to be undivided. Some will bolt the GOP, others will continue to support it, others will sit on their hands.

And regardless, we will still be the greatest nation.

It's reassuring and hopeful to read this thread with so many supportive comments. There is hope, and we must make it so. The president and the first lady are outstanding people, and his leadership has been the best in my lifetime.
