I forgot about the Christmas tree farms. They're big employers. I worked two seasons at one in Tuckaseegee, when I was up at Western.
Yep, there and those stretches of strawberry farms etc. around Asheville. And last I heard they aren't hiring college students for help as much over in Highlands/Cashiers. I did a stint of about a month one summer over at one of the country clubs myself
