The way I read it; the mother is related to the children by blood, the father is related to the children by blood, the children are related to each other and the parents by blood. So what is the issue?
The mother and father aren't related by blood, marriage, or adoption.
Uptight Christians, I wager.
Having read earlier articles on this issue - only two of the children are related to both parents. One child is only related by blood to the mother, but not the father. As the father has not legally adopted the third child, therein lies the problem. It's a very complex law.
