Nice bias title by the AP. They could have said: "Bush welcomes Olympic athletes to the White House." But no, they have to play up the the "dudes and dudesses" comment in the headline to make him look like an idiot. I especially like the last two paragraphs with the comment and quote.
Bush welcomes Olympic 'dudes and dudesses' Republican Bloom tries to score points by giving McNabb jersey to president
The Associated Press Updated: 12:48 p.m. ET May 17, 2006
WASHINGTON - President Bush welcomed dudes and dudesses from the U.S. Winter Olympic team on Wednesday in a White House ceremony that included a most unusual prop a signed football jersey from Donovan McNabb.
About 190 Olympians and Paralympians from the Turin Games gathered on the sunny South Lawn for the traditional post-Olympic visit, where the president offered praise for athletes representing sports both traditional and hip.
We want to thank all the dudes of dudesses of the snowboarders who are here, Bush said.

MSNBC? Calling AP titles biased?
Maybe the "dudesses" part because as everyone knows dude is now a masculine or feminine noun.
I mean, dude, come on.
I think it's a funny line. And it'll piss off the hippies that he's copping their lingo.
Well, what did you expect from the mainstream media?
If Clinton said it, they'd laugh til they puked and say it was 'charming.'
Well, it does. Everybody else in the country knows it's supposed to be "dudettes". ;)
"Dudes and Dudesses"? Thought it was "Dudes and Dudettes".
Dude, Where's my WALL?...........
I really dont see how this is an attempt to make him look like an idiot...
A Dudess is a Dudette raised to the Peerage.
I think it's funny. Like the MSM is soooo perfect. /sarcasm
Good Lord. We're gonna hear about this one for a while.
I think that's factual. I believe it may even be how the "Flying Tomato"(snowboard kid) referred to one of his parents.
All this time I thought it was 'dudette'.
The press is just a bunch of Eichmanns.
LOL. So putting the prez's actual words in a headline is designed to make him look like an idiot.
You're reaching. Make that over-reaching.
