Oh, I argue not on Bud's market share (even more now with the purchase of RR). I do however raise an eyebrow to those that deem it beer.

It's sort of like the difference between "cheese" and "cheese food".

Besides, I don't know why anyone would drink Bud or RR if they have access to:

Every beer has its place. Bud is good for making beer can chicken, or mowing the yard. Personally, I like RR and RR Lite. And I really like Yueng. Great value.

Yuengling is my absolute favorite beer!! But it's not sold in Ohio, so I get my in-laws (who live 3 miles from the Penn border) to buy me a case at a time. I hope Yuengling buys up the RR brewery and increases its capacity.

I switched to Yuengling a long time ago, but evry now and agian I do get some "Ponies". I hope they just don't change it. Good (real cold)or bad (not very cold) it brings back fond (yet blurry) memories of my college days.

I grant you that Yuengling is a fine tasting beer, but frankly, it gave me headaches --- the only beer I have ever tried that did. Rolling Rock is also a good tasting beer that was brewed locally which was my primary reason for making it my regular brand. Looks like it will become just another MacBeer from MacBrewery now. I'll miss it.
